Trial Membership

Interested but not ready to join?   You do not need to register to participate in a trial run.

If you are interested in joining the club, but would like to give it a try first, please check our Home Page for a list of upcoming events to choose an event.  If possible, please let us know a week in advance of the run so we can provide you the complete information and add your name to our roster for that run.

Ready to Join?

Sahuaro Miata Club dues are $25.00 per year, and the membership year begins July 1 and ends June 30 of the following year.

However, for new members ONLY, your dues are prorated for the first year as follows:

• If you sign up between Jan. 1^st and April 30^th, $12.50 pays your membership through June 30^th.
• If you sign up between May 1st and Dec. 31^st, $25.00 pays your membership through June 30^th of the following year.

NEW MEMBERS - Register & Pay Online:

Online registration is mandatory for club membership. Please do not register to just participate in a trial run.

Follow these steps to complete your free online registration.

• Click on the word Register (it is blue and is located in the upper-left portion of this screen.
• Fill in your registration information keeping in mind that the round, red and white arrows indicate required fields (you must enter something for these).
• For the Display Name, please use your first & last name(s). This displays when you sign up for an Event, so that the Event Coordinator knows who is attending.
• Please add as much non-required information as you can, like address and phone number(s).  Phone number(s) should be entered as 480.999.5555 for consistency. This information is secure and only available to the administrators.
• Please write down the user name and password that you enter because you will need them to Login (Login button is next to Register) and access the Events page once you have completed registration and payment.
• After filling out all of the registration information, scroll to the bottom and click the Submit button; shortly afterwards, our system will send you an email verification stating that you have registered successfully.
• Upon receiving your e-mail verification, please forward a copy to our Membership Coordinator at smcmembership@msn.com.  Please allow 3 days for your User ID and Password to be activated. 
• You will receive a second e-mail confirming activation with instructions on how to pay on our website to complete your registration. 

Payment can be made with through PayPal with a credit card, debit card or PayPal account.  You DO NOT have to set up a PayPal account to use this service.

• Once activated, you will be able to Login with the Username/Password you registered (which you wrote down for safe-keeping) and be able to access our secure page called, Events. This Events page is the key to finding out all about our planned runs and events (like the Day, Place and Time). Each planned run or event allows you to sign up as well as see who else in the club has signed up.
• Membership dues must be paid within 7 days or the account will be de-activated

ACTIVE MEMBERS

• Active members’ dues are $25.00 per year, due by July 1, with a grace period through July 31^st.  If we do not receive your payment by July 31^st, your account will be de-activated on August 1^st.  Once de-activated, you will no longer be able to access the Events page and see upcoming event information. You will be eligible for re-activation for 1 year and will be re-activated upon receipt of your $25.00 membership dues.  
• The quickest way will be to e-mail the membership coordinator at smcmembership@msn.com.  Your account will be re-activated to allow you to pay online.  Please allow 3 days for your User ID and Password to be re-activated. Pay the $25.00 membership fee online on the Dec 31^st Membership Event within 7 days.
• If you prefer to mail a check for $25.00, you can still mail it in to:

IMPORTANT!  If you are going to mail a check, please e-mail the SMC Membership Coordinator at smcmembership@msn.com to let us know that you have sent it.  Our mail goes to a lock-box and is forwarded; it can take up to 30 days for us to receive it.
