Three cars from SMC were joined by a friend from New Mexico (with a "new" 95 Miata) and a couple from the OPMC for this ride up the Devil's Highway--(old Route 666--now route 191) from Clifton to Alpine.

The Rain or Shine Trek to the Grand Canyon, August 20-21, 2011

Booked as an overnight Rain or Shine run to the Grand Canyon, the rain held off long enough for 12 club members and their water-repellent Miatas to enjoy Jerome, Oak Creek Canyon, the city of Williams, and the Grand Canyon.  When it did rain, it was only for five minutes, and at the end of our trek.  It was a great Miata adventure experienced by old and new friends alike.
