“Sunny and Seventy degrees”, is what you want to hear your favorite Phoenix weatherman saying as you head out on a Sahuaro Miata Club run, especially in the month of January. The weather truly was beautiful this day, and our Miatas were never shinier as we took the back roads to Tucson Arizona to enjoy Mexican food and experience the Pima Air and Space Museum. Not a twisty-road run, but certainly a beautiful run with fresh desert vegetation and snow-covered mountain peaks lining the route. With the beautiful drive and the long but tasty lunch at the La Fuente Restaurant in Tucson behind us, the Pima Air and Space Museum experience was like being transported to another era. With vintage commercial planes as well as war-birds from four wars, the Pima Air and Space Museum is a remarkable place; club members who participated on this weather-friendly day certainly agreed.

Another great run. As we heard some one say, "in comparison to the November Bagdad/Yarnell run: 5 turns in 180 miles vs. 180 turns in 5 miles". And in November the food was good.
Thanks again. We had a great time!
