It is official, we have a new board. Late Sunday afternoon, the newly elected board members stood in the winners circle and were applauded by all club members present at this annual Board Members Election Meeting, held once again at Charlie’s Steak House in scenic Wickenburg, Arizona. The club, as always, had the entire restaurant to itself for the election as well as a fabulous meal, raffled prizes and auctioned items which rounded out the fun. Everyone seemed to have a good time, and the Miatas in Charlie’s parking lot never looked better under that sunny, blue Arizona sky.

The new board consists of:

Rich Bishop ….. President

Allan Tramel ..Vice President

Dani Burgess ….Treasurer

Ray Valle …….. Secretary

Plus, the club’s appointees are:

Membership Coordinator … Judy Zwickl

Webmaster ……………….. *Barry Owen

Events Coordinator ………. Paul Miller

Merchandise Coordinator …Ginger Chabot

Also, Ed Chabot debuted a musical CD titled, “Original Miata Songs – Volume I” which consists of nine originally written and recorded songs by Ed and his musician friends from around the country, all about, what else… the Miata! All donated proceeds for this unique CD will go to finding a cure for Diabetes; the CD will be available throughout the year until all 40 of them are gone.

*Barry is temporarily staying on as webmaster, but he would like to be contacted by any and all club members who would like to take over this coveted position.
